Founded in 2009 by director/dop Sebastian Cramer, SCREEN PLANE is an established company developing equipment for 3D image acquisition and providing professional 3D services. Screen Plane initially started out creating stereoscopic gear for their own projects, but following their international recognition and success, Screen Plane products are now available to rent or buy.
From the beginning, cmotion have been a very important partner for Screen Plane. This had particular significance when the ideas for DPC®, H.I.T.Con and 3D-Log were integrated into the 8-axis cmotion control unit. All Screen Plane rig are now being manufactured and distributed by cmotion.
