We design, develop and manufacture wired and wireless lens and camera control systems for the broadcast and motion picture industry. Our current product line up forms part of our cvolution range. Our system components are compact, modular, upgradable and multifunctional.
A basic cvolution LCS (lens control system) consists of a motor control / camera interface unit; called camin, and a hand control unit. The camin can communicate with numerous film and digital cameras and will control a wide range of popular digital lens and 3D rig motors. The hand control is available with up to 4 detachable control modules and boasts an intuitive yet substantial internal control and settings menu.
Following our recent partnership with ARRI, our cvolution camin and hand controls are now available with the optional ARRI White RF module. This allows the cvolution hand control unit to communicate directly with ARRI White Alexa Plus cameras.
Since 2009, cmotion have also become a significant authority in developing synchronised lens and rig control for the 3D market. Our cvolution range offers advanced features for most popular 3D set ups that are not available from any other lens control manufacturer. All our technical know-how and expertise is also available in our own cmotion 3D rig developed by ‘Screen Plane’.
